Dean Earley Visits UConn Prior to January Start

Storrs, CT (8/8/2007) - Though slated to start his new post at UConn in January, the new School of Business Dean P. Christopher Earley has already made two trips half way around the world to begin working with faculty, staff, alumni and students and plans at least one additional trip before his first official day on the job January 1st, 2008.

In June, Dean Earley traveled to Storrs from his current post in Singapore where he is dean of the National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School – one of the top business schools in Asia. Dean Earley’s June trip was centered mostly around meetings with UConn administrators and School of Business faculty and staff on the Storrs campus.

His August trip included meeting with the regional campus business programs, as well as several key stakeholders and prominent alumni to discuss his vision for the School.

In October, Dean Earley plans to travel to Storrs again to join in the celebration of the MBA Program’s 50th Anniversary on October 13th.
