WFSB Coverage of MBA State Police Project

CT (6/13/2005) - UConn MBA students, who were asked to evaluate state police headquarters this past spring semester, challenged some of the most basic ways the administration operates, including its paramilitary culture and communications. It was just the kind of honest feedback Public Safety Commissioner Leonard C. Boyle said he was looking for. Shortly after Boyle was appointed, he asked the master of business administration program to send a team of graduate students to the Department of Public Safety headquarters and focus on what they perceived to be the most serious issues.
