About the Program
FDIB Green Business: Australia has been designed specifically for faculty from business, engineering, economics, and international studies. The program will provide the participants an in-depth understanding of how Australian universities, government, and businesses are flourishing and leading the way in innovation and technology relative to green business and sustainability. Participants will also have the opportunity to explore Australia’s unique cultural heritage and witness the sustainable use of the limited resources of the Australian landscape.
The program comprises lectures, discussion sessions, company visits and cultural excursions. Participants will have the opportunity to network with academics and business leaders of green and sustainable business. Speakers will be drawn from business, government, mass media, and academics.
This program is an eye-opening experience to understand how Australia is incorporating sustainable development strategies for environment and economical well being.

Dates
January 5 - 19, 2013
These dates include travel time to and from the U.S. and assume a departure from the US to Sydney on January 5 and from Brisbane to the US on January 19.

Business faculty from two- and four-year college and universities currently working in or interested in incorporating Green Business content into their curriculum.
