Tuition and Costs

The current 2009-2010 tuition and fees for the full-time MBA program at Storrs for the academic year (two semesters) are estimated at $11,226 for Connecticut residents and $26,310 for non-residents. Housing and living costs vary, but are approximately $6,356 for graduate resident housing and $4,724 for meals. Preference will be given to early applicants for graduate housing. Additional costs including required health insurance, textbooks, mobile computer, laundry and incidentals bring the total yearly cost of attending the MBA program to approximately $28,000 for Connecticut residents and $44,000 for non-residents.

Does the MBA Program offer any financial aid?
Yes, the MBA Program offers a limited number of financial awards to a select group of truly outstanding admitted students. These range from full scholarships to partial awards of $1,000. They are given on a merit basis by looking at the strongest combination of work experience, GMAT scores, and grade point averages (GPA). These awards are extremely competitive. The average statistics of those students in the Class of 2010 who were awarded a full scholarship are 7.4 years of work experience, 655 GMAT, and 3.5 GPA. At present, full scholarship recipients are expected to perform administrative or research duties for the School of Business or a corporate partner.
