The University of Connecticut's School of Business is recruiting an Instructor/Assistant Professor in Residence with Marketing expertise. The position is affiliated with the Connecticut Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CCEI) and will reside in the Marketing Department within the School of Business. Responsibilities include supervising entrepreneurial projects in the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters (at our CCEI state-of-the-art facility in East Hartford), and teaching three marketing courses per academic year at our Storrs and/or Hartford locations. The anticipated start date for this position is flexible, but will be no later than Monday, January 5th 2009. It is an eleven month appointment with annual renewals dependent upon performance; the position does not lead to tenure. Minimum Qualifications: Candidates with a Master's degree, with successful and relevant entrepreneurial experience, and evidence of outstanding teaching potential may be appointed at the Instructor in Residence level.

Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with a Ph.D. in business or a related area, previous entrepreneurial experience with high tech start-ups and companies, and evidence of outstanding teaching credentials may be appointed at the Assistant Professor in Residence level.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
