Internet Design Specialist

The School of Business is seeking a full time Internet Design Specialist to work with the school’s Information Technology Services Department. The incumbent will develop and maintain all SB websites; assist faculty and administration in supplementing course and web content with media; supervise technical consultants and student technicians in web site development, apply highly specialized technical and creative skills in multiple areas of media production; e.g., audio production, writing, film, graphic, and video editing, photography, web development, streaming video, teleconferencing technology, and supports media services of significant size and complexity.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education & training; 3 to 5 years of experience relevant to web design and .net programming; Demonstrated experience with SQL database programming, web languages such as ASP.net 2.0, HTML, DHTML, AJAX, JavaScript, and PHP. Demonstrated experience with an area of media specialization. Experience with Content Management Systems is preferred. Demonstrated ability to work well with people, organize workloads, handle difficult problems, work well under stress, and to develop complex plans and strategies.
This is a one year end-date position that may be renewed. Target salary is in the $60s.
