Financial Risk Students Place Third in Global Challenge

A team of four graduate students in the MS in Financial Risk Management program took third place in an international competition in Montreal earlier this month, and were the highest-placing U.S. team in the competition.Continue Reading


MBA Candidate and Team Win Henkel Case Competition

MBA candidate Kseniia Poiarkina ’18 MBA was on the winning team in the Henkel One-Day Case Competition, which focused on leveraging business digitalization. The challenge took place on March 16 at Henkel’s Rocky Hill location. Other universities participating in the event included Northeastern, UMass and Drexel. Continue Reading

Creative Traffic Analysis Earns Grad Student Recognition

Graduate student Ankit Borkhataria ’17 MSBAPM took third place at the Tableau Student Viz Assignment Competition, which drew more than 100 submissions from 14 countries.

Winners were selected based on creativity, analytical depth, beauty and design and overall score.

“Ankit took a creative approach in wrangling a large data set with over 1 million rows of Montgomery County (Maryland) traffic violation data. The judges loved his choice of using a bold color palette and embedding Twitter feeds from @mcpnews and #mdtraffic,” Tableau posted in its announcement.
