Since 1995, the UConn Family Business Program has been dedicated to enhancing the success of businesses, families and individuals by providing exceptional resources and opportunities for collaboration. Our
goal is to help family businesses develop strategies
and policies that will serve to perpetuate family ownership while enabling them to make significant advances in functions related to business strategy, increased complexity, organizational structure, management practices and succession planning.
These functions are addressed vis-à-vis an initial QuadStrat Strategic Performance AssessmentTM and supported through our many program offerings, which give our members an opportunity to explore critical marker-points personally and for the business.

In keeping with our pledge, we continually develop speaker series, focus groups and experiential learning opportunities that are distinctively tailored for our members. Together, with the program’s broad association with industry experts, academicians, researchers, and family business peers, we will chart a course for leadership and
explore the fundamentals of successful family business stewardship. We promise that topics will be thought-provoking and complex, but we also promise to expose you to techniques and strategies that will improve the overall well-being of your firm and
