Nerac to Host the next XcellR8 Meeting April 28

TOLLAND, Conn. - April 26, 2016 - PRLog -- Nerac (www.nerac.com/)  is pleased to announce the next XcellR8 meeting which will be held Thursday, April 28, 2016 at the Nerac headquarters in Tolland, CT. The XcellR8 meetings are high energy, interactive gatherings for entrepreneurs to pitch ideas and concepts and to brainstorm creative solutions to challenges. What began three years ago as an MBA student-run research project at UConn, has now grown to be one of the largest automotive data companies in the industry.  After participating in many business plan development programs and competitions here in Connecticut, including the UConn Innovation Quest (iQ) Competition which helps students with marketable product ideas step through the product development process, the team successfully raised a seed round of capital following graduation and moved to the Cambridge Innovation Center in MA.

PartsTech is an automotive web-based ordering platform designed to meet the needs of today's technicians, manufacturers and distributors. By connecting technicians, distributors and manufacturers in one seamless, online platform, the product reduces the friction typically associated with the parts ordering process.  PartsTech's e-commerce solution makes finding and ordering the right parts simple, fast and accurate.

The PartsTech team will give an overview of progress-to-date as well as a discussion of scaling strategies and pathway to market. The team is seeking feedback on their pitch and rollout plan, as they are currently engaged in raising their Series A round.

XcellR8, established as a networking cell in northeastern Connecticut, was one of four cells originally created by members of the Connecticut Technology Council executive board, including Nerac CEO, Kevin Bouley.
