Selcan Kara
Selcan Kara presented: Shared and Connected: Interpersonal Relationships and Shared Brands.   She also successfully defended her dissertation proposal titled, “Two Essays on the Effect of Alphanumeric Brand Names on Consumers’ Brand Related Decisions.”

Bin Li
Bin Li passed his CE titled, “Technology and Market Structure: An Empirical Analysis of Entry and Exit in the Banking Industry” and received the Voya Financial Summer Doctoral and School Year Doctoral Fellowship.

Shan Lin
Shan Lin successfully defended her dissertation titled, “When Marketing Strategies Meet Wall Street” and received the Marketing Department Ph.D Teaching Award. Lin will join the faculty at Lewis University (near Chicago IL) in Fall 2015.

Huang Lu
Huang Lu successfully presented his Qualifying Paper, “Earned Media and Consumer Learning in the Bottled Water Market.”

Anna Jansson Vredeveld
Anna Jansson Vredeveld successfully defended her dissertation titled, “Consumer-Brand Engagement: Cultural and Moral Manifestation” and received the Marketing Department Ph.D. Teaching Award. Jansson Vredeveld will join the faculty at Berry College (GA) in Fall 2015.
